BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is the ultimate K-pop sensation that's taken the world by storm since their debut in 2013. Made up of seven members - RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook - these guys are more than just a boy band; they're a global phenomenon! From their chart-topping hits to their mesmerising performances, BTS has captured the hearts of millions, with a dedicated fanbase known affectionately as the ARMY.
Their influence has been immense, and even the Korean food they enjoy has become popular around the world due to pictures and videos of them eating going viral online!
If you want to try out some of BTS’ favourite snacks and meals, we explore the foodie favourites of the boys and uncover the delicious dishes that keep BTS fuelled and ready to conquer the world, one stage at a time.
BTS Favourite Snacks and Food
While the boys each have their own individual favourites, which we’ll explore later in this blog, there are also a few snacks and foodie treats that the whole group say they love!
Calbee Honey Butter Chips
With seven members of the group, it can be difficult to come to a consensus on what the best snacks truly are. However, all of BTS have said they love Honey Butter Chips, and if you’ve ever tried them, you’ll totally understand why!
Nong Shim Honey Twist
These snacks are so good, there’s even footage of Jimin and V fighting over a bag of Nong Shim Honey Twist! Each bite is a crinkle-cut twist that has been covered with Acasia honey for a deliciously sweet snack.
Shin Ramyun
With the demanding schedule that comes from performing around the world, instant noodles provide a quick and convenient meal for the boys to enjoy. The Bangtan boys love many types of instant noodles, but their favourite is Shin Ramyun (or Shin Ramyeon), which has approval from the whole group!
These noodles are hot and spicy with an amazing flavour that is quintessential to the Korean style of instant noodles. They are thick, wavy noodles that provide a filling and comforting meal that is sure to remind the boys of home.

RM / Kim Namjoon Favourite Snacks and Foods
Namjoon has shown a particular fondness for traditional noodle dishes, with knife-cut noodles and Jjajangmyeon being two favourites.
Kalguksu is a Korean dish of handmade Knife-cut noodles, which are made from wheat flour and are prepared by thinly cutting a block of dough directly into boiling water. The resulting noodle is thick and chewy. They are typically served in a big bowl with broth.
RM also loves Jajangmyeon, a traditional Korean dish that involves chewy noodles in a black bean sauce. Our Chajang Kuk-Soo dried noodles, and Black Bean Paste for Jajjangmyeon are ideal for recreating this dish at home.
Namjoon’s love for Jajangmyeon has got him in a bit of trouble in the past though, following the so-called ‘black bean noodle incident’. One day during training, RM really wanted to eat Jajangmyeon. He excused himself from their dance training, saying he had a stomachache and needed to use the restroom, but in reality, he was treating himself to a bowl of delicious Jajangmyeon at a local restaurant!
Another favourite for Namjoon is Paldo Bibimyeon, which is a spicy cold noodle. RM loves these noodles for their taste, comfort and convenience. He loves them so much, in fact, that he once ate these particular noodles for three days straight!

Jin / Kim Seok-jin Favourite Snacks and Foods
Jin is considered a bit of a foodie and has previously broadcast himself eating during lives and his mukbang show called ‘Eat Jin’. Jin is perhaps best known for loving lobster - in fact, he once ate six in one sitting!
Like many of the boys, another one of Jin’s favourite dishes is Korean Cold Noodles.
Jin is also known to love chewing on gummy sweets and has been seen in many videos enjoying a chewy sweet! In their reality show, BTS in the Soop, you can spot Orion My Gummy sweets amongst the stack of snacks seen in their house.

Jungkook / Jeon Jung-kook Favourite Snacks and Foods
Jungkook is known to have a bit of a sweet tooth and it’s no surprise, with the nickname Kookie! Jungkook really enjoys banana milk and once even said that he would rather live without pizza than without banana milk, stating, “I can’t live without drinking banana milk”.
In a video for Spotify to celebrate a billion streams on his song Seven, Jungkook selected seven of his favourite snacks and dishes. In addition to banana milk (of course), his choice included tuna gimpbap, spicy shrimp crackers, soy sauce eggs, japchae, castella and Haitai homerun balls.
Jungkook recommends popping the Haitai homerun balls, which are chocolate filled biscuits, into an airfryer for an extra tasty treat!
You can also see Jungkook enjoying Lotte Kancho biscuits in a Bangtan Bomb video released on their YouTube channel. Kancho are crunchy biscuits filled with a sweet chocolate filling. These bite-sized biscuits feature illustrations of the cute mascots Kany and Chony.

Jimin / Park Ji-min Favourite Snacks and Foods
Jimin is a known lover of instant noodles, and one of his favourite snacks is the Buldak noodles from Samyang. He’s been seen slurping up these fire chicken noodles during many VLIVE videos, helping to increase the global interest in these spicy snacks. In fact, Korean media revealed that since videos of Jimin eating Buldak noodles went viral, sales of the Samyang ramen increased by 158% in the United States!
Before you’re tempted to try Jimin’s favourite noodles, be warned that they are very hot and spicy. Jimin is often seen sweating while eating them! Samyang Hot Chicken Flavour Ramen has a Scoville Heat Unit of 10,000 and makes our list of best spicy noodles, so it’s safe to say that these aren’t for the faint-hearted.

Suga is also a big fan of meats and his love for steak is well-known amongst ARMYs. He prefers his steak prepared medium-rare and seasoned with salt and pepper. Suga has also shared his love of Korean beef with those in need, donating Korean beef to 39 orphanages under the name of BTS’s fan club ‘ARMY’ for his 26th birthday. He chose 39 orphanages, as the number corresponds with his birth month and day, March 9th.

V has shared his love for Japchae numerous times in vlogs and on Run BTS. Japchae is a delicious dish made with stir-fried glass noodles that are made from sweet potato starch. The noodles are typically paired with vegetables and meat and seasoned with soy sauce and sesame oil. It is a savoury dish with a slightly sweet taste. You can recreate the dish easily with a Japchae stir fry sauce.
Like Suga, Taehyung also loves to eat kimchi jiggae! He has revealed he enjoys eating kimchi stew with rice. It’s a meal he opts for when he’s feeling cold, which makes sense as it is a hearty and warming dish.
