our story

Orientalmart is a family run business and started off as an online shopping service (one of the first in the UK) in 2006, delivering Oriental goods to the whole of the UK. As the website grew bigger, there was a demand to open a shop which allows us to provide produce and a local delivery service to the local area.

In February 2008, we opened our first store in the Hockley area of Nottingham, and with the opening of the second store on the Goldsmith Street, Nottingham city centre in October 2018.

In April 2024, we have expanded from city centre and open a new branch on the high street of Beeston. We are now the biggest Oriental Retailer in the Nottingham area.

Orientalmart's diversity in produce from different countries has earnt rave reviews over the UK, with our website being recommended by Wagamama Nottingham Cookbook, The Hairy Bikers Asian Adventure Cookbook and leading Korean cooking website www.maangchi.com.

To make Oriental food produce, whether it'd be cooking ingredients, snacks, noodles or drinks, easily accesible to anyone in the UK and Europe. We want to make Oriental cooking fun, interesting and easy! Not a challenge!
