Calbee is a Japanese snack company that was originally founded by Takashi Matsuo in 1949 in devastated post-war Hiroshima. His first product was the Calbee Caramel, named after the word "calcium" and vitamin B1. Due to the product's popularity, the company name was changed to Calbee from 1955. Today they produce a range of snacks that are distributed around the world. Calbee's Seaweed Flavoured Potato Chips are enriched with the flavours of the sea. Each bite is packed full of umami crunch, which comes from the famous Aonori seaweed and salt present in each bag. A tasty treat for lovers of seaweed flavour and salty potato snacks.
