Who does not love wings? Chicken wings are probably the most famous snack all around the globe. Deep fried wings maybe one of your flavour ways to cook them but sometimes you might get bored of it. Why not try something different. What about Chinese style? Today, we are going to introduce you a quick and easy recipe, Chinese style chicken wings with soy sauce.

Chinese Style Chicken Wings with Soy Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

10 Chicken Wings

2 tablespoons light soy sauce

2 tablespoons dark soy sauce

4 tablespoons water

1 piece of rock sugar

1 teaspoon Chinese cooking wine

4 slices of ginger

3 cloves of garlic

1 star anise

Step 1

Flatten the garlics with knife.

Step 2

Boil the wings in a pot for 3 minutes. Then, put the wings in iced water to cool down. Drain the water and set aside.

Step 3

Mix the water, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce and cooking wine.

Step 4

Heat the pan with medium heat. Then add oil and garlics and ginger until they turn into golden brown. Add the chicken wings and sear each side for 1 minute.

Step 5

Add the sauce, star anise as well as the rock sugar. Put on a lid and turn the heat to medium low. When the sauce become thickened, then it is ready to serve.
