What is Korean Army Stew?

Korean Army Stew, or Budae Jjigae, is a stew that blends typical Korean and American foods for a crowd-pleasing fusion dish that’s really easy and convenient to make. Common additions to the stew include things like kimchi, instant noodles, Spam, baked beans and American cheese.

Budae Jjigae combines spicy, tangy Korean flavours with classic American convenience food for a simple yet satisfying dish.
